Tools I Use to Support Recovery and Restore the Body

A closer look at the recovery technology I incorporate into my work to support circulation, release tension, and help the body recover more efficiently.

Recovery is a major part of the direction my work is moving. While each session is rooted in hands-on care, I also integrate tools that support the body in a more targeted way.

These devices are currently being used by top athletic teams and athletic trainers, but their benefits are not limited to athletes. They can support anyone dealing with tension, fatigue, inflammation, restricted movement, or a body that feels like it is holding more than it should.

Below are some of the recovery tools I currently use in session and recommend as part of a more supported recovery process.

Compression Therapy

NormaTec Elite

The NormaTec Elite uses dynamic compression to support circulation, lymphatic flow, and muscle recovery. It helps move fluid through the body, reduce heaviness, and support the natural recovery process after stress, strain, or physical exertion.

This tool is especially supportive for clients who feel stagnant, inflamed, heavy, or slow to recover.

Percussive Therapy

Theragun Pro

The Theragun Pro uses percussive therapy to target deeper layers of muscle tissue. It helps increase blood flow, reduce soreness, and release areas of chronic tension that may not fully respond to lighter touch alone.

Used intentionally, it can help the body shift out of patterns of tightness and restore greater ease of movement.

Smart Cupping Therapy

AchedAway Smart Cupping Device

The AcheAway Smart Cupping Therapy Device uses controlled suction to lift and mobilize tissue. This supports circulation, helps release stagnation, and creates space in areas where the body feels restricted or compressed.

Cupping can be especially helpful when the body needs release without more pressure.

Heated Muscle Scraping

AcheAway Heated Muscle Scraper

The AcheAway Heated Muscle Scraper combines scraping with heat to support fascial release, tissue mobility, and circulation. The warmth helps soften the tissue, allowing for deeper work without forcing the body.

This tool is helpful for areas that feel dense, tight, or limited in movement.

How These Tools Are Used

These tools are not used all at once. They are selected intentionally based on what your body needs in the moment.

Some sessions may call for compression. Others may benefit from cupping, percussive therapy, or heated scraping. The goal is never to overwhelm the body, but to support it in releasing, recovering, and functioning more efficiently.

I also use additional products in session, including oils, topicals, and other supportive tools, depending on the needs of the client.
